Vranov nad Dyjí
is situated in the close proximity of the Vranov Dam in the heart of Podyjí National Park. It is an ideal place for recreation in any season. In summer you can enjoy swimming in the Vranov Dam, which is at the same time a paradise for surfers and yachters. Fishermen adore the river under the dam, which is full of trout. In cooler months there are ideal conditions for hiking, as well as for
bicycle trips to the famous Šobes Vineyard, on the marked cycloroutes through the Podyjí National Park and along Dyje River. Currently boat traffic was re-established, which offers sightseeing boat trips as far as Bítov Castle. Lovers of historical monuments will find in the environs a number of historical landmarks, which you should not miss.
